About Margaret Donnelly
Margaret was growing up in Illinois, Alton, living with eleven brothers and sisters and her parents who always stressed the importance and necessity of giving back to the community. As for education, it included Masters in Social Work (it should be added that she worked at school as a social worker) and law degree. She represented children as guardian in court and it was her attorney practice. In 2001 she received women’s lawyers’ association award of honor! What is more, in the same year she became ad litem of the year (awarded by Family Court of Saint Louis).
She has always been focused on education, children health, child care issues (including au pair intercultural child care) preservation of neighbourhoods, etc. No wonder that Margaret Donnelly’s background led her to politics. House committees of energy, technology, appropriations, mental health, social services are those she serves. She was elected to the Ferguson Florissant Board of Education and worked two terms there. In addition to that she was appointed president of this board and spent one year working on this post.

Margaret lives in Richmond Heights with her husband David Riedel and two children Adam and Julia. She is a member of Richmond Heights Historical Society, Missouri Bar Family Law Section, Family Support Network, etc.
