Make your children be thankful
More and more people realize that politics isn’t just something you encounter in the morning papers or over the latest news. It is something all of are effected by every day, every time we go to the gas station to fill up the tank, share a cocktail with friends or take our child to a family doctor. And politics isn’t something that happens out of nowhere with people who have nothing to do with us. It’s a complicated process that involves all of us, without any exemptions. From the way we elect our local representatives to the biggest decision for the four upcoming years, the election of the president of the nation, it all depends on how much trouble we went into to analyze the problem.
We don’t just choose our state representatives. With a concrete person responsible for the post we choose the policies that will prevail, the budgets that will be drawn up, the priorities that will be made. So when you go out and campaign for somebody don’t think of immediate short term remedies, think about long term important goals that will be important for our children. Someone who, like Margaret Donnelly, believes in family values and education. Don’t make your decision lightly, the future is in your hands.
